It's been an interesting couple of weeks. I've been working hard on my new writing project, which as I mentioned is being published under another name and doesn't have any erotica. It's been kind of strange to be writing it and not mapping out where I'm going to put all the steamy scenes. I'm also trying something different with this book. Mountains Wanted and Mountains Climbed had extensive outlines that grew in detail as I progressed through the book. My new project just has a basic idea and some themes, like reconciliation and forgiveness. It takes place during a discrete 4 day time period but there are non-chronological flashbacks that cover a 5 year span. I am trying to write it completely organically, just letting what comes to me come to me when it comes. So far I'm pleased with the results.
In other news, it sounds like my living situation will be changing in September. I will be progressing toward figuring out the next step for me, career-wise, relationship-wise, etc. It looks like I am not going to entirely get my way (which I'm becoming more and more accustomed to) and I'm trying to adjust my expectations to be in line with reality. It seems like I never get my way anymore.
Because if I did, I'd already be a famous and rich author who never had to work a 9-5 job another day in my life and Prince Charming would have swept me off my feet. We'd be well on our way to our own private happily ever after.

I can't connect that book with this pseudonym I'm afraid so I won't be talking about it much here.
