I am not a salesperson

I don't think I have ever been good at selling myself or any other products. I hate being pushy and although I don't mind telling people what to do, I like using that trick where you make them think they want to do it themselves (seems to work well with my kids!)

I promised my contributor that I wouldn't obsessively look at the Kindle Direct Publishing reports to see how many copies of the book I have sold. And I have only been checking a couple of times a week. That takes restraint, let me tell you. So I looked today, and it's been about a week, and I haven't sold any more copies since the last time I checked.

:(

So let me remind you if you've been hesitating that you don't need to have a Kindle to read the book. You can read it on any smart phone or tablet with a Kindle app.  OR, alternatively, you can read it in the Kindle Cloud on any computer. Yes, I know some of you are die-hard fans of print, and I get it, but this is a quick read and I think you'll be glad you checked it out.

Here's the link:

Come on, you know you want to.

(See, I'm trying to make you think it was your idea all along!)

  2. I just realized the book is only avalaible in Kindle format. Not sure how yet, but I am going to try download on my computer after I make the purchase. It makes a great gift, but my friend does not have a computer or Kindle. Let's see how I manage to get it.

  3. Ok, this is probably why people are unable to make a purchase. I don't own a kindle, and refuse to get one. I also refuse to own a Iphone, Ipad and Android. I would love to buy one as a gift for my friend. But when I click on "buy now", I get a message that reads:

"We did not find a Kindle device or a reading app that supports this item registered to your Amazon account".

As much as I would love to get the book, I won't get install a kindle application on my computer since it will be a gift for her.

    1. Kof, I understand it's not everyone's preference. You can read it on a computer in the kindle cloud though so you don't have to have a kindle, a tablet or a smart phone, just a computer of some sort.

    2. Oh, if you mean the Phoebe_Alexander profile, it was deleted by AFF. :( That is one of the reasons why I am leaving the site.

    3. Ok, Didn't know you had another profile on aff, Care to share the name so we can look you up? Or just come and visit and we'll pick you up from the who's viewed if you have that switched on.
Maybe come and check out our blog whilst you are there, Tyler likes to write also. We have 2 or 3 stories there.
Not so much erotic fiction but more like a uncencored account of our play sessions. Erotic reality perhaps.. They almost read like stories. We guess they would seem very amature rather clumsy and badly written to you, but he's keen to improve his writing skills and write better stories about our naughty business, so if you have any constructive comments and advice on how to write or improve they would be well received..

As for AFF,,, humm! so did they say why they deleted your phoebe alexander profile?

      Best wishes E&T

  5. I know you need money, but I'm also thinking about ways to keep your name and the book out there. Many authors slash the price of the book for a day, or even give it away for free for a few hours. It's just a promotional tool that you can use that may bring more people into your community and then make them fans, and then buyers, for the next book.

    1. I hear you :) I am doing autographed giveaways on my fb page once a month. I would have to see how difficult it is in the kindle direct program to change the price.

    2. Also look into the Prime program. That allows someone who has a Prime membership to borrow your book for a month, but you still get some money for it.
